Welcome to Holtwhites Bowls Club
Are you thinking of playing bowls? We do hope so. It is a great form of exercise and a way of making new friends. We are a very friendly club of around 40 members. Not too big and not too small. Just right!
This means we are very supportive of members, and everyone gets to play. No booking of rinks or waiting to play in competitive games. Everyone is valued and encouraged in their play.
We hold very regular roll-ups for anyone to enjoy each other’s company and improve their game. We hold fun bowls days and have an active social programme. And, of course, everything is combined with coffee/tea and CAKE.
We also enjoy our competitive games; friendlies with our local clubs and many of our members enter external competitions.

Open 3 Woods pairs Competition
Is being held at Holtwhites on Friday 14th August. This event is sold out, as there are no more spaces for competitors, but spectators are very welcome.
New Bowlers
We always give a very warm welcome to new bowlers. All you need is a flat-soled pair of shoes and the bowls will be provided.
Members are always happy to give advice and instruction to anyone new. Just come along any Monday evening at 6 pm or Saturday morning at 10.00 am during May or use our Contact page for more details.
New members are always welcome though at any point in the season – May – September. We invite you to get in touch to arrange a visit and try us out. You will not regret it.
