Bridge
Every week a group of us play bridge – Mondays 1.30 – 3.30 pm in the Clubhouse. Help is given to new members who want to learn.
Talks
Once a month in the Winter season we hold coffee mornings and invite a member of the club to talk about either their previous career or an interest they have. These have been very entertaining and fascinating. Some examples are; a forensic scientist involved in solving the Great Train Robbery; an officer in the army and police force, and a gory talk on Jack the Ripper.
Meals
Our occasional 3- course lunches in the clubhouse across the winter season have been great fun and a great way to keep in touch. Every Christmas we also get together for our annual lunch at Crews Hill Golf Club.
Other events
We also hold regular fun events across the Summer eg race nights, quizzes, whist drives and games evenings. Dates for all events for 2026 to be confirmed.
